Kate Upton: The “Hot Complex” Gallery, Interview & Video

We hit the farm with Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton.

It’s not every day that you see a model willing to do chores on the farm. Then again, not every model is as cool as Sports Illustrated’s new “It Girl,” Kate Upton. The blond bombshell grew up an avid horseback rider, and is not only comfortable around animals, she’s a sports fan who spends the majority of her days modeling lingerie. Dream girl? We think so. As she prepares to be the new face of Guess, we spoke to Upton about Kanye rumors, her flawless rendition of the Dougie, and life around animals. Got milk?

These pictures…you must really love animals.
I grew up with horses, doing horse shows, and with dogs always. I’m probably too comfortable with them. I always forget, like, “Oh, they could kick me.”

You’ve done tons of photo shoots, how cool is it to do this one on a farm?
I’ve actually never been on a farm for a photo shoot before, so when I found out, I told my sister and my mom because we always showed horses together.

All I wanted was to have big boobs and be tall.

Have you milked anything before?
No, I have never milked a cow before. It was really cool. I told everyone I learned how to do it.

Would you do it again?
Yes.

Is there an adrenaline rush doing it, or…like…any other feelings that you get while doing it?
No, I’m not scared to be around animals but it’s just cool to say I know how to milk a cow now.

The viral video of you Dougie-ing had the Internet going nuts. Who taught you that dance?
Damaris Lewis, who’s another SI model, taught me how to Dougie. I love to work out to that song, and I was like, “I need to learn how to Dougie.” She was like, “Oh, I already know how,” and she taught me how to do it. The next day we went to the Clippers-Thunder game. Our good friend Arash was there and I was showing him that I could Dougie. And of course he taped it on his videophone.

You’ve been linked to Kanye West and have shot down those rumors. Is it starting to get annoying?
I wasn’t mad about those rumors. No matter who it is, it’s still a shock when it hits the Internet that you’re dating someone or you’re somewhere where you’re not. I understand it comes with my career and I’m happy with it. I’m willing to take that on.

You seem to be very comfortable in your own skin, whether you’re milking a cow or you’re in lingerie. Were you always this confident?
I love my body because I used to not be as curvy. I used to get made fun of for being so short and completely flat-chested. I prayed every day. All I wanted was to have big boobs and to be tall. Since I got what I wanted I’m very happy about it.

Thank God for that!
